This year I would like to send the kids off to 4th grade as published authors. We have been hard at work putting together our writing pieces and illustrations to form an amazing book titled “Third Grade is Super!” In this book, the students have created their own superhero and supervillain alter-ego, designed a super suit, and even set up a dramatic battle scene!
These books are being published through Studentreasures Publishing. Each book costs $19.95. On the order form there is an option for deluxe binding; do not feel the need to purchase this as there is no difference.
These books are great mementos for their third grade year and will even be fun to display at their high school graduation! If you would like to see an example of a finished book, the Studentreasures Publishing Company has sent an example to our class that I am happy to share with you. We are so excited to share our hard work with everyone!
Sincerely,
Miss Richmond

I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it's probably worse. August Pullman was born with a facial difference that, up until now, has prevented him from going to a mainstream school. Starting 5th grade at Beecher Prep, he wants nothing more than to be treated as an ordinary kid—but his new classmates can’t get past Auggie’s extraordinary face. Auggie is a hero to root for, a diamond in the rough who proves that you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out. Guided Reading Level: V Genre: Realistic Fiction |
